Napheesa Collier Strikes Another Win: Signs with Jordan Brand
Napheesa Collier keeps on winning.
A day after being named the MVP favorite in the 2025 WNBA general managers survey, Napheesa Collier just secured another win—and this one doesn’t even require a box score.
One of the staples in the league as the four-time All-Star, reigning Defensive Player of the Year, and MVP runner-up is now officially part of Jordan Brand. The announcement, which was aptly timed with the league’s opening day, is more than a shoe deal.
This is a signal that Collier’s influence is still rising, on and off the hardwood.
“By joining the Jordan Brand family, I’m now part of a legacy that has consistently redefined what’s possible in basketball,” Collier said. “This partnership feels especially meaningful because it connects my performance on the court with impact that extends far beyond the game itself.”
There’s nothing accidental about Collier’s rise. Collier’s been building her stardom for this moment since she entered the league.
As a two-way force and a vocal leader, Collier is also the co-founder of Unrivaled, the new 3×3 league built by and for WNBA players. As someone who is a culture shifter, a game-changer and a changemaker, her career keeps expanding in scope, and in purpose.
Now, Collier walks right into an even bigger spotlight.
As now one of the faces of Jordan in the WNBA, she carries the legacy of flight into the next generation. The message that she hopes to send? Elevate.
“When young girls see that iconic silhouette, I want it to inspire them to aim higher than they thought possible. It’s an honor to help carry forward a tradition that seamlessly blends athletic greatness with cultural significance.”
Already a member of the Nike family, Collier previously signed with the brand in 2020. Collier wore a range of performance silhouettes, which most notably her PE versions of the KD15 in 2022.
But the Jordan move? It feels bigger.
Sharper.
Like a player stepping into a signature chapter.
And for Collier, that signature is already written in all-caps.
