WNBA MVP is A’ja vs Caitlin. Everybody Else…Good Favor
THIS IS A TWO-HORSE RACE

“I feel like this year is a two horse race, and it’s between Clark and Wilson.”
That’s it. That’s the entire operation. You can keep reading if you want to feel productive, but deep down you already know where this is headed.
Caitlin Clark sits at the top of the odds like a main character who just unlocked a new skill tree. A’ja Wilson sits right behind her like the final boss who already beat the game three times and knows every cheat code. Everybody else on the list? They’re either fighting math, fighting teammates, or fighting the harsh reality that MVP voters don’t care about your “almost.”
A’ja Wilson dominates the league every single year. She checks every box like she’s filling out an application for “Best Player Alive.” She wins games, she puts up numbers, she controls both ends of the floor, and she does it with the consistency of somebody who treats dominance like a 9-to-5.
But MVP voting doesn’t always reward the best player. Sometimes it gets bored. Sometimes it wants a new story. Sometimes it wakes up and decides, “You know what? Let’s spice things up.”
“The only thing I worry about A’ja Wilson is voter fatigue… it has nothing to do with her play on the court.”
That’s where the chaos creeps in. That’s where the door cracks open. Because once voters start thinking they’ve seen the movie already, they start looking for the sequel.
And Caitlin Clark is standing right there like a flashing billboard screaming,
“NEW STORYLINE AVAILABLE.”
