WNBA MVP is A’ja vs Caitlin. Everybody Else…Good Favor

SOMEBODY HAS TO TAKE IT

This doesn’t feel like a polite vote.

This year it’s a fight for the last slice of pizza that no one wants to share.

 

“If she wants it, she’s really going to have to take it from her.”

This is A’ja’s prime and that’s the entire scope of this WNBA season. Everything essentially belongs to Wilson and if you’re going to go at her, you’re going to need to take it from her.

Clark brings the storm. She brings the chaos, the numbers, the noise, and the feeling that something ridiculous could happen every night. A’ja stands there like she’s seen every storm before and already knows where to step.

One player tries to grab it. One player refuses to give it up.

Everybody else stands around watching, hoping something weird happens, knowing deep down this probably comes down to those two walking into the arena and deciding it themselves.
