This WNBA Season Has Final Bosses & NPCs
THE REAL TITLE RACE

The top three teams in the league are by far on a different level than the rest of the WNBA.
The New York Liberty look like they could break the single season win record with the way their team is structured.
But the Las Vegas Aces still sit right there because A’ja Wilson doesn’t allow them to fall off.
“Don’t count A’ja out.”
They reloaded, added pieces like Janiah Barker and Chennedy Carter, and kept their core intact. That combination keeps them firmly in the title conversation.
Then there’s the Indiana Fever, who feel like the most dangerous wild card in the league.
“The Fever, bro, they were a few minutes away from getting to the finals last year.”
Now Caitlin Clark returns healthy and more comfortable, Aliyah Boston keeps improving, and Kelsey Mitchell continues to deliver in clutch moments. The roster has depth, scoring, and just enough chaos to beat anybody.
If you had to pick today, the Liberty feel like the safest choice. But nothing about this season feels safe. The Aces can take it. The Fever can take it. And if everything breaks right, one of those “baby contenders” could crash the entire party.
That’s the beauty of this league right now. Half the teams need patience. Half the teams need belief. And a few teams are about to fight for a title like they already know how this ends.
